BC restaurants seek robotic help during labour shortage

To help cope with a labour shortage in the province, some British Columbia restaurants are seeking some non-human help.

Using robots to help serve guests has been a solution for a few places, which help with pickup and takeout orders, as well as tableside assistance.

"This really helps us to do lots of things at one time," said Dharna Sohal of Mantra Indian Cuisine in Victoria, B.C.

Global's Kristen Robinson has more on the robotic trend and why experts say it's not a long-term solution.
