‘Misled by Russian army’: Biden admin claims Putin’s advisors afraid to tell Ukraine war truth

The United States said Russian President Vladimir Putin is in dak about the ground reality of the ongoing Ukraine war. Citing some declassified U.S. intelligence, the Biden government said Putin's advisors fear telling him the truth. The findings also indicate a ‘persistent tension’ between Putin and his ministry of defence. "We obviously have information, which we have now made public, that he (Russian President Vladimir Putin, ed) felt misled by the Russian military. We believe he's being misinformed by his advisors about how badly the Russian military is performing and how the Russian economy is being crippled by sanctions, because, again, his senior advisors are too afraid to tell the truth," said White House communications director Kate Bedingfield.
