In a dangerous repeat of what Donald Trump did on January 6 when he indicted and inspired his angry mob of supporters to attack the US Capitol to stop the certification of Joe Biden's election win, Donald Trump used the same inflammatory language to inspire and incite his followers to stop our nation's teachers from teaching "critical race theory", or as Trump put it, "teaching our children to hate America."
At his recent hate rally, Donald Trump urged his supporters to "lay down their lives" in the fight against the teaching of critical race theory.
This raises the often asked question, when will the Department of Justice finally decide to deal with the continued risk to public safety Donald Trump poses. Even apart from his crimes to overturn the results of the presidential election, DOJ has evidence well beyond "probable case" - the standard to indict and arrest - of several crimes committed by Trump. Given that Trump is now engaging in the same inflammatory rhetoric that inspired the January 6 attack, this time, directed at our nation's school teachers, will DOJ finally act?
