After a decade since the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, the Tokyo 2020 Games (held in 2021) was also an opportunity to show the ongoing reconstruction of the affected areas and gratitude to those around the world for their support. The Games highlighted the charms of these regions, and local people have built the good relationships with its participants including athletes. This short video shares some stories of these examples.
