pumpkin spice oatmeal
1/2 cup oats (I was using old-fashioned oats, minute oats also fine)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup pumpkin puree (or other fruit puree)
1/4 cup milk of choice (Silk brand soy or oat are my faves)
1 tbsp maple syrup (or to taste / my milk was unsweetened)
cinnamon + pumpkin pie spice to taste
salt to taste
I always just microwave it until it's hot throughout & starting to thicken.. then leave it to sit for a bit to cool down & thicken up more
(make sure u stop it every minute or so to stir and make sure it doesn't overflow)
