Ongoing renovation and demolition of iconic Uhuru Park causes uproar

There is growing concern among Kenyans on the ongoing renovations at the Historic Uhuru park and subsequent limited access for members of the public to the recreation facility.
While the Nairobi Metropolitan services says the park will be inaccessible for a few months, hundreds of small scale traders are facing an uncertain future after they were forced to move their wares away to pave way for renovations of the facility.
