The latest global models are in great agreement that a significant weather pattern change will arrive across much of the U.S by the middle of next week as a very strong negative PNA (Pacific North American) decadal oscillation sets up over the western half of the U.S. This intern will amplify large-scale ridging over the eastern half of the U.S bringing well above normal temperatures for early October.
