This is one of the mods I have been dreaming about since I first purchased this 991.1 a couple of years ago. Don't get me wrong, I love how the first generation 991 looks - Porsche did an amazing job in transforming the 911 for the time it was released, introducing a load of new tech and engineering while maintaining all of the attributes that make 911s special. But those rear lights.... they were OK. Not bad, not great, just OK. When the second generation 991 was introduced I was smitten with the new "3D-look" tail lights. To me, they give the car a true 21st century look while being mean and sleek at the same time. I wanted them. It wasn't until recently that I discovered it's possible to retrofit them onto my 1st generation 991 - a HUGE thank you to Andrew at NineElevenSouth for showing me how this was possible.
