If you are on Medicare, the first thing you need to do to be prepared for the Medicare enrollment window for 2022 is to be on the lookout for your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) letter from your insurance company that details the changes to your plan for next year. This could mean that you premium goes up or down, that your coverage changes, and much more. Once you know what is going to happen with your existing Medicare coverage you can then contact your Medicare broker (like us!) to review what the new plans available to you in 2022 are. These new plans are released on October 1st of each year. Enrollment in new plans doesn't start until October 15 and coverage cannot start until January 1, 2022.
