Recently I visited Catalina Island and had a most pleasant snorkeling tour! I loved it 10/10 and recommend it. Instructor Thrash did an amazing job 👍 I only wish I had given more tips!!!

The tour is near the famous casino in Avalon (main city in Catalina Island) so you get both astonishing views undersea and above water!

Santa Catalina, one of California’s Channel Islands, lies southwest of Los Angeles. From Long Beach, CA or Newport Beach, CA, you can take a ferry and get there for a day trip (what I did). It's really like going to Hawaii without flying a long flight.

I hiked the Garden to Sky Trail (coming in the next video), visited the
Wrigley Botanical Garden, and took a Discover Avalon bus tour. Of course Snorkeling. All of these packed in 1 day! Highly recommend giving this a go especially if you live near LA. Some people from the same boat with me told me, they have lived in LA for 30 years and this is the first time they go!
