Church Repeats Its Call On Politicians To Ensure That They Carry Along A Message Of Tolerance

The Church in Mpika district of Muchinga province has repeated its call on politicians to ensure that they carry along a message of tolerance as well as coexistence ahead of the August pools.

Speaking during the Episcopal Consecration of the new Bishop of Mpika Diocese, Edwin Mulandu, Bishop Pathias Chama of Kasama of the Catholic says the Church is looking forward to seeing peaceful campaigns among all political leaders.

And speaking shortly after the service former home affairs minister, Stephen Kampyongo says PF has always been ready to promote peace just as it was demonstrated by his PF members who allowed UPND supporters led by its vice president Mutale Nalumango at the church service without any form of confusion.
