Absolutely Tiny Spring-Fed Creek, Fishing Big Dries and Dodging Rainstorms for Decent Fish (Tenkara)

Absolutely Tiny Spring-Fed Creek, Fishing Big Dries and Dodging Rainstorms for Decent Fish (Tenkara)

This miniscule creek was a real gem! Fed by clear and cool springs, it eventually flows into larger river, allowing for much bigger fish than you'd expect to call this place home. On this rainy afternoon I was using my very short and light (.9 ounces) tenkara rod while throwing size 10 chubby chernobyls. I had to wait a few rain showers out, but managed to find some solid action. A few of the fish were really nice sized for the creek, and it was a joy to fish such small water.

Thanks so much for watching.
