TMJ - 103 The Clicking and Popping Joint

There are many different symptoms of TMJ disorder such as pain in the jaw joint, a clicking and popping jaw, headaches, facial pain, ringing of the ears, neck pain, and back pain.

While there are many possible causes, one the primary causes is an imbalanced bite. This is the third of a series of videos exploring the bite and how it influences the TemporoMandibular Joints (TMJ).symptoms .

TMJ - 103 Internal Derangement shows the reason that some jaw joints click or pop when opening. This type of imbalance is very unstable and may or may not have some of the other symptoms associated with it. This internal derangement of the clicking jaw joint may lead to a closed lock (see TMJ -104)
