ABC ‘outraged’ that people might keep ‘more of their money’: Kenny

Sky News host Chris Kenny says the ABC is “outraged” that people earning a wage might be able to keep a little more of their own money.

“I mentioned yesterday how Labor has dropped two policies, big policies, in the lead up to the next election,” he said.

“It’ll no longer try to limit negative gearing ... and also it says it’ll keep the next stage of the Coalition’s income tax cuts that kick in, in a couple of years' time.

“These cuts will mean that no one pays more than 30 cents in the dollar until they earn $200,000 a year, then the higher rate of 45 per cent kicks in.

“Most people would welcome that you’d think, but not at the ABC.”
